Six, Summer and Surprises

Accepting the fact that I have a six year old, is as hard as accepting that he will start first grade in exactly 1 month.
Summer is flying, and we are cherishing every moment. With that said, we also cannot wait to start a new chapter in our lives, and have Marco back with us.
We bought a house in June, and closing is in September. We will then officially have the keys to start renovation.
It will be a crazy few months as we are basically gutting the whole house, but maaaan are we excited. Marcos father will be moving into our current apartment, so leaving it won't be as hard.
I can't wait to share our journey, and post updates on our house project. It's a fabulous fixer upper, and absolutely perfect for us.

Luca had a 6 day fever. on the 6th day we flew to America. he was ok. it was a very very difficult 6  days, but we made it safely across the atlantic, just in time for me to get strep throat.

at 4am the day after we arrived. recovering boy, confused as hell girl, and a mamma who can't think straight from exhaustion overload, only to get sick 2 days later...
